Farm Tours

• You get to touch and cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs, stroke a miniature pony, feed a llama and play with the goats.

Animal feed is available in reception at 50p a cup and you can select from PONY, GOAT, LLAMA and VEG CUPS. All the other animals have feed all the time so they wouldn't possibly eat extra so we don't sell it for that reason. Your tour guides are trained and know the animals personally so you can ask questions and learn from them. Great for home schooling families. All the staff are volunteers at CTF but their training is second to none and their awareness of dangers is exemplary. Our staff are polite and friendly and have tip jars in reception (so if you think they did a great job, you are more than welcome to tip them).

The tours all have to go out and finish on time to allow the volunteers their breaks in between tours, if you are late this is not a problem but your tour will still have to finish on time unless we are quiet that day. We always suggest people arrive 15 minutes early to avoid this. You can choose from 30, 45 or 60-minute tours. Normally with a 60-minute tour, you get to see all the animals. you will be asked what animals you would like to see if, for example, you have chosen a 30-minute tour. Listen to your tour guide moving along your tour, your time is precious playing with the animals we know but they will advise you to move to the next to avoid missing out.
